Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

Filing for bankruptcy has a potential to wipe out most of your debts. There are some exceptions, which are called non dis-chargeable debts, which may not be discharged in bankruptcy. One example would be student loans. It’s very difficult to have student loans discharged in bankruptcy. Another example would be, if you caused injury to someone’s personal property, those debts may not be discharged.

It’s important to talk to an experienced bankruptcy attorney who can review all of your debts to make sure that a they may be discharged or may not be discharged.
