How much does it cost to retain a personal injury lawyer?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

In most automobile accident cases, attorneys are willing to take them on what’s called a contingency fee basis. When you meet with a lawyer, you don’t pay them for their time, you only pay them if they recover money for you, and in those circumstances you would meet with a lawyer, you would sign a retainer agreement, and then it’s made very clear in writing that the attorney’s fee is payable only upon a recovery.
