Transcript:

If you die without a will, New York State Law will determine who your beneficiaries are. We look to the descendant’s family tree and determine which family members will be beneficiaries. The beneficiaries could be a spouse, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

So under New York Law if you die without a will, your family tree determines who your beneficiaries will be. So by having your estate plan in place, you can determine who your beneficiaries will be, so you should call Rusk Wadlin Heppner & Martuscello and we can work with you in your estate plan.
