Sarita Bhandarkar of Wappingers Falls, NY joined the firm as a senior associate in January 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Sarita had a solo practice in the Hudson Valley for seven years and has been a practicing trusts and estates attorney in New York for twenty years. She received her LL.M. In Taxation from New York Law School in 2012, her J.D. from William & Mary Law School in 2002, and her B.A. from Tufts University in 1998. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Sarita has served on a number of boards and volunteered with many local organizations, including the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council, Leadership Orange, Arc of Orange County, Girls on the Run Hudson Valley, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh. She has been selected by Hudson Valley Magazine as a Top Lawyer for 2026. She is available in the Marlboro office by appointment.”
