Transcript:

If you’re injured in an accident, your case can range from six months typically to two years would be average to resolve that case. Depending on a lot of different factors, what the liability picture is like, that is who’s at fault, what the extent of your injuries are and what the amount of the insurance coverage that’s available to the offending driver. Those factors all affect how quickly your case will be resolved, and if you have a significant injury that’s going to be permanent, you really don’t want to be in a hurry to resolve that case. You want to find out what are the affects of this injury on my life and quite frankly after three months or six months, you don’t know the full impact of that injury upon your life. We’ve had many cases where a diagnosis, an accurate diagnosis for that injury doesn’t occur sometimes a year, eighteen months after the accident and so if you resolve that case too quickly, there’s injuries that have yet to even be diagnosed that are now not compensable because you’ve settled your case to soon. If you’ve been injured in an auto accident, contact a car accident lawyer of Rusk Wadlin Heppner & Martuscello, LLP.
