Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

If the other driver’s insurance company tries to contact you after the accident, you should not speak with them. Their interest is to minimize your claim and to defend their own insured against your claim. So when they contact you, you should take down their information, thank them for contacting you but then forward that information to your attorney and your attorney can speak with them directly. Those phone calls are typically recorded and their going to try to get information from you which will either minimize or harm your claim.
