Back in August of 2010, I was actually going east on Route 299. I came to one of the roads I had to make a left hand turn for and I was waiting because it was 5 o’clock traffic, so I had my directional signal on. I was waiting patiently for an opening in the traffic to make the left hand turn. I had looked in the rear view mirror and I had seen a pick up truck which was starting to clear out on the right side and not realizing that there was a car tailgating him in the back and he never saw me and hit me and from what I understand at about 60 miles an hour, sent me through the hole in the traffic, putting me on the other side of the road, up on an embankment. The accident left me with numbness in both of my feet, which I experience 7 days a week 24 hours a day. My lower left disc was pressing against the lower nerve area and that was creating a lot of numbness not only down my left leg into my feet, but also I was experiencing it on my right side as well. Also I didn’t realize at that time, it was found out later on but really didn’t come into play was I had a ruptured disc up in the top left side of my back and so those injuries were pretty extensive.
I knew one of the lawyers here, Danny Martuscello. I knew his reputation and I actually knew the reputation of law firm and to me they were impeccable. To me they are probably one of the leading law firms in the area. When I came in, I was introduced to Dan Rusk because he was personal injury and I didn’t even check anywhere else. I just had the confidence in Dan Rusk that whatever he needed to do, he was going to do and represent me properly.
We did go to trial, there was a jury. The jury did convene and the jury came back with a decision in my favor. Dan could not have done anymore for me than he did. It was a situation where he held out as best as he could for the proper judgement and that’s what we got. We got the proper judgement.
Yes I would highly recommend Rusk, Wadlin, Martuscello, the whole firm. I think anybody here is capable of representing anybody that needs to be represented, no matter what is going on, no matter what kind of case you have, I certainly think they are a very powerful group and I think they would represent you very very well.
